The Avid ePublisher product was based on Avid Cinema with changes that transformed it from a home video editing solution to an interactive content production tool. My role was to recruit external Product Designers and act as laison between them and the internal development teams. In addition, I continued in the role of Art Director and Product Designer.

 

 

• Recruit external product design consultants to develop and practice a formal design process. Acted as liason between the internal teams and consultants by driving the logistics of scheduling weekly meetings with clear agendas, capture/share issues and decisions, and elevating the hairy issues. 

• Develop a vision for the transformation of the look and feel and ensure consistency across all elements and screens.

• Provide mockups for all screens and prepare and deliver image assets.

• Provide art direction to Marketing for brand and package design.

• Create prototypes for early user testing using Photoshop mockups, PowerPoint animation, and carefully crafted scripts.
