Pilots can graphically combine aviation weather, airspace notifications and their actual planned flight route into one interactive workspace to easily evaluate alternatives and make the best pre-flight decisions. WSI Pilotbrief Optima provides comprehensive weather coverage, reliability, high-impact weather visualization, forecasts, and access to briefing services from any Internet enabled web browser.
My role on Pilotbrief Optima was similar to that of the EnergyTrader project with regard to being mostly visual as well as some of the challenges. This project was smaller but I was training a Jr. designer just out of school while working on other projects as well.

Hiearchical grouping schemes for the breath and depth of the project.

Applied the visual language to mockups and provided detailed visual design specs.

Created custom branding art, widgets, buttons, and navigation controls and provided image assets to developers.
